A 31-year-old Adani Realty employee, Yuvraj Singh Manchanda, was shot dead inside a car in Gurugram by his former colleague Anya Vats and her husband Sanyam Sachdeva, who were arrested from Uttarakhand nearly two weeks after his disappearance. Yuvraj left a Lajpat Nagar restaurant in South East Delhi on September 6, claiming he had a meeting in Gurugram, but never returned. His body was later found in a drain in Sector 70, Gurugram, after his phone was switched off. Police traced Anya’s mobile to Uttarakhand and confirmed her involvement, noting unresolved financial disputes and prior allegations of harassment between the two. The couple had previously worked together at Emaar and were allegedly fired in 2022 for financial mismanagement.
