Four Booked After Traffic Halts on Pune-Bengaluru Highway for Car Reel

Pune police have registered a case against four individuals after traffic on the Pune-Bengaluru highway was brought to a halt for a car reel shoot. The incident occurred on August 27 around 4:15 pm between the Sahyadri Mahindra showroom and Bhujbal Chowk in Wakad, a busy stretch of the highway. According to the police complaint, the group stopped a newly purchased black SUV decorated with floral garlands and used two Fortuner SUVs to block traffic from behind while a photographer recorded drone footage. The FIR names vehicle owner Somnath Ashok Kedari, two escort vehicle drivers, and photographer Soham Chavan, owner of SC Photography. The accused have been booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act for dangerous driving and creating public obstructions.
