Four Family Members Killed in Bangladesh's Rangpur City

A retired Hindu school teacher, his wife, and their two children were killed at their residence in the Daspara area of Rangpur city, Bangladesh. The victims were identified as 65-year-old Ganapati Chakraborty, 50-year-old Pritilata Chakraborty, and their children, 23-year-old Agami Chakraborty Prarthi and 12-year-old Priyam Chakraborty. Police have detained two cousins, identified as Mughdho and Siddhartha, for the murders. Authorities stated the suspects entered the rooftop to consume the drug yaba and killed the family members after being confronted by Ganapati Chakraborty. The bodies were discovered in the locked house on August 21, 2026.
