The Palestinian death toll in the Israel-Hamas war has reached 74,016, according to records from Gaza’s Health Ministry. Since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 1,145 Palestinians and seven Israeli soldiers have been killed. While the heaviest fighting has ceased, Israeli strikes continue, and the U.S.-brokered ceasefire remains largely stalled. Israeli forces currently maintain control over more than half of the Palestinian territory, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that forces will not withdraw until Hamas disarms.
