GIFT City Climbs to 37th Globally in Financial Centres Index

GIFT City has climbed nine positions to rank 37th globally in the latest Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 40). The milestone makes GIFT City the sole Indian financial hub featured in the top 15 centres across the Asia-Pacific region. Its global FinTech ranking also improved by three spots, placing 26th worldwide. The index evaluates 115 financial centres based on digital infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, skilled talent, and access to finance. GIFT City officials announced plans to focus on deepening market participation and enhancing international cross-border financial connectivity.
