The feature enables users to adjust system settings and troubleshoot via natural language text prompts. Google's Minhaz A V demonstrated the tool on X, highlighting its ability to configure options like dark mode and screen brightness through a single tap. While early testers noted occasional inconsistencies in multi-step prompts, the tool aims to simplify navigation across hundreds of Android settings. Device Help is currently available on Pixel devices from the Pixel 6 onward that have been updated to Android 17.
