Google Pixel Feature Drop Expands Scam Detection and VIP Widgets

Google has announced its latest Pixel feature drop, introducing expanded home screen widgets and notification badges for VIP contacts on Pixel 6 and newer devices. The update also expands Scam Detection capabilities to chat apps and notifications across several countries, including India, the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and France. Additionally, Google is rolling out a Wear OS 7 update for Pixel Watch 5 devices, featuring a more personalized offline Gemini assistant, improved GPS tracking, and expanded one-handed gesture controls. Eligible Pixel users in ten countries will also receive two free months of Audible alongside custom Harry Potter audiobook wallpaper and sound packs.
