The incident took place as the Governor was leaving his official residence to attend Onam celebrations. The passerby, identified as Girish, fell unconscious after experiencing a sudden spike in his blood sugar levels. The Governor's staff provided water and first aid while contacting Girish's family members. Governor Arlekar then directed that Girish be shifted immediately to a hospital for proper medical treatment.
