Gujarat Plans 76,000 Diyas and Cow Donations for PM Modi’s 76th Birthday

Gujarat has planned a series of events across the state to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday on Thursday. In Ahmedabad, the Vishva Umiyadham organisation will host a midnight programme featuring a Maha Arati, a mass recitation of Vande Mataram, and the lighting of 76,000 diyas in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. In another initiative, the Sitavan gaushala will donate 76 Gir cows to women from economically weaker sections to provide livelihood support. Additionally, the Vishwa Gujarati Samaj will distribute 76,000 saplings for kitchen gardens to promote healthy living and home cultivation. The BJP has also announced twin bike yatras starting September 17 between Vadnagar and Varanasi, which will be flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
