Gurgaon Biker Sia Rebuts Driver Defence Over Crash
· India · Times of India, Indian Express
Woman biker Sia has rejected claims by driver Kalyan Bainsla that their collision on Gurgaon's Golf Course Road was purely accidental. In a video statement shared on Instagram, Sia argued that camera footage clearly shows the car switching lanes to hit her motorcycle. She questioned why the driver failed to stop and check for injuries after knocking her down. Bainsla had earlier claimed that a group of 22 to 23 bikers were riding aggressively and that the crash happened near a U-turn. Sia stated that the incident exposes how unsafe roads can feel for women in Gurgaon and Delhi.
Why it matters
