At least 12 school buses were stranded for over two hours near Subhash Chowk in Gurgaon after 75 mm of rainfall lashed the city on Monday. The downpour caused severe waterlogging and traffic gridlocks across key areas including Golf Course Road, Artemis Road, and Sector 52. Parents and residents stepped out to rescue stranded children, with some students reporting exhaustion and body pain. The district administration subsequently issued a work-from-home advisory for private offices and advised schools to conduct online classes on Tuesday. Residents also raised safety concerns over loose electric wires hanging from poles and meters during the flooding.
