Harmanpreet Kaur's 91 drives India to 3-0 series sweep over Zimbabwe
· Sports · Indian Express, Times of India
Harmanpreet Kaur smashed an unbeaten 91 off 41 balls to power India to 216/7, securing a 92-run win and a 3-0 series sweep over Zimbabwe in Raipur on Tuesday. India chose to bat first for the first time in the series, with Shafali Verma contributing 69 off 34 balls before holing out to long-on. Smriti Mandhana relinquished the opening spot to Anushka Sharma, who fell for 28, while Niki Prasad was promoted to number three but managed only nine before a juggling catch by Loryn Phiri.
Why it matters
India completed a clean sweep of the three-match T20I series, but the experiment with batting order changes and new players like Anushka Sharma and Niki Prasad may have left some talents disappointed despite the winning margin.
