The complaint followed an interview with Sulaiman and Kasim, the sons of former Pakistan Prime Minister and World Cup-winning captain Imran Khan. Reports indicated the Pakistan team had threatened to boycott the second Test against England if the broadcaster aired the interview. The interview was eventually broadcasted later than originally scheduled, and the Pakistan team returned to the field. Imran Khan has been imprisoned in Rawalpindi since 2023 following a conviction on corruption charges.
