Himachal Pradesh to Introduce Three-Time Attendance System in CBSE Schools

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that 150 government-run CBSE schools in Himachal Pradesh will implement a mandatory three-time daily attendance system. Attendance will be recorded during morning arrival, the lunch break, and checkout. Additionally, the state government prescribed a separate dress code for teachers, mandating it from October 1 with a one-time financial assistance of Rs 5,000 for purchases, while a decision on student uniforms is expected within a week. The government has also appointed around 1,200 teachers and allocated an additional Rs 80 crore to strengthen facilities in these rural schools.
