Yemen’s Houthi rebels accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out an airstrike on the Central Corrective Facility in the northern city of al-Hazm within al-Jawf province, killing at least seven people including a child. Houthi-run Health Ministry spokesperson Anees al-Asbahi stated that at least seven others, including a woman and a child, were wounded, while local sources estimate that 35 people remain trapped under the rubble. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree also claimed that rebel forces shot down four Saudi reconnaissance drones and used ballistic missiles to target supply trucks at a border crossing in Hadramout province. Hours after the prison strike, Houthi media outlets reported retaliatory attacks using missiles and drones targeting the Abha international airport, King Khalid Air Base, and Aramco facilities in Abha and Jizan.
