Hyundai has announced a major product expansion in India, planning to introduce 26 new models and updates by 2030. The company will begin this rollout in the fourth quarter of 2026 with an all-new A-segment electric SUV developed specifically for the Indian market. Additionally, Hyundai confirmed plans for a new internal combustion engine midsize SUV, which is expected to compete with models like the Maruti Suzuki Fronx-based offerings. To support this growth, the automaker intends to increase its annual Indian manufacturing capacity by 3.2 lakh units and achieve 90% local content across its vehicle lineup. Development for these upcoming SUVs is already underway, with test vehicles currently being spotted on Indian roads.
