Imran Khan's Alarming Medical Report Details Health Concerns in Adiala Jail

An alarming medical report for imprisoned former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has surfaced, submitted to the Pakistan Supreme Court by Adiala Jail authorities in Rawalpindi. The 73-year-old leader, detained since August 2023, is experiencing rising blood pressure, heart palpitations, and extreme mental stress. Former president Arif Alvi shared parts of the report on X, noting that Khan's blood pressure was recorded at 140/80 with a pulse of 54 bpm and acute anxiety levels. Alvi stated that Khan is receiving heavy medication, including Citanil and Lexotanil three times a day for daytime anxiety. Meanwhile, jail authorities informed the court that Khan's eyesight has improved to almost normal, contrasting with previous claims from his lawyers.
