Kasim Khan, son of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has alleged that several extended family members were detained by authorities in Pakistan without explanation. Kasim stated on X that his aunts Dr Uzma and Noreen, along with cousins Shershah and Shahrez, were forced into vehicles from their homes. The allegations precede the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party's planned September 27 protest march. The claims could not be independently verified. Meanwhile, Lahore police previously arrested Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan under the Punjab Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, holding her for 30 days over security concerns.
