India and China Discuss Border Peace and Delimitation

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi met in Beijing on Tuesday to discuss maintaining stability along the Line of Actual Control. The dialogue focused on reinforcing peace and tranquility in border areas, which Doval described as a key factor in the normalcy of bilateral ties. This meeting forms part of the Special Representatives dialogue framework, occurring ahead of the upcoming BRICS summit. Doval noted that the discussions were held in accordance with the guidance provided by PM Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping during their previous meetings in Russia and China. The two sides also reviewed progress on border delimitation efforts.
