India and Seychelles Discuss Maritime Security and AI Cooperation

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan met Seychelles National Assembly Speaker Azarel Ernesta and a visiting parliamentary delegation in New Delhi on Thursday. The discussions focused on deepening bilateral cooperation in maritime security, renewable energy, seafood, and capacity building. India offered to share its artificial intelligence expertise to support Seychelles' parliamentary functions, digital translation, and archives. On Wednesday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also held talks with Ernesta regarding digital parliament initiatives and technological collaboration. The engagements reaffirm the longstanding diplomatic ties and shared democratic values between the two nations.
