Investor sentiment remained fragile due to the ongoing Middle East conflict and the rising cost of Brent crude, which is nearing $90 per barrel. While headline indices struggled, the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices managed slight gains of 0.05% and 0.38%, respectively. The technology sector led the market decline with a 1.75% drop, while realty and metal sectors ended the day in positive territory.
