Twenty-seven-year-old Indian national Gurdeep Singh was shot dead in Brooklyn, New York, on the night of August 21. Singh, a resident of Queens who had lived in the US for 13 years, was reportedly delivering pizza near Stanley Avenue when he was killed. Local police stated they received a 911 call at approximately 10 pm and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.
