An IndiGo flight traveling from Patna to Lucknow made an emergency landing in Uttar Pradesh after being struck by lightning on Wednesday. The lightning impact damaged the nose of the aircraft, which was carrying 104 passengers and six crew members. Despite the structural damage to the nose cone, the plane landed safely in Lucknow eight minutes ahead of schedule. All 104 passengers and six crew members disembarked safely without any reported injuries. The airline and aviation authorities have not yet released further technical assessment details regarding the aircraft.
