Indore Woman Kills 75-Year-Old Grandfather With Bat Over Childhood Abuse

A 20-year-old woman in Indore killed her 75-year-old grandfather by striking him on the head and face with a cricket bat. The incident took place at the victim's house at around 3am on Sunday after the college student rode there on her motorcycle. Police said the attack was triggered by a heated argument with her parents late Saturday night over staying out late, which brought back memories of alleged childhood abuse. During interrogation, she claimed her grandfather, a retired trooper of Madhya Pradesh's Special Armed Force, groped her when she lived with them as a child. The injured man was rushed to Aurobindo hospital, where he died during treatment.
