IOA Electoral Officer Issues Nomination Guidelines for Outstanding Sportspersons

Indian Olympic Association Electoral Officer Sanjay K. Srivastava has issued revised guidelines and nomination forms for the Sportspersons of Outstanding Merit elections in New Delhi. The nomination deadline is set for October 30, ahead of the Athletes' Commission elections on November 3 and Executive Council polls on December 5. Proposers and seconders must be drawn from the official merit roster released on October 23 and may endorse only one candidate per gender category. The election will select eight representatives, comprising four men and four women, to the IOA General Assembly. Two elected representatives from this group will subsequently join the IOA Executive Council under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025.
