IOA Forms Independent Panel to Probe Hockey India Official Over Harassment Claims

The Indian Olympic Association has constituted a four-member independent committee to investigate sexual harassment allegations against Hockey India secretary Bhola Nath Singh. Former women's team captain Asunta Lakra filed the accusations, claiming Singh threatened her after she objected to the alleged harassment of girls in Jharkhand by coach Sudhir Golla. Retired High Court judge Deepa Sharma will head the inquiry panel, which also includes former athlete Vandana Rao, former hockey captain Mamta Kharb, and lawyer Sitwat Nabi.
