Iran claims to have tripled the production of strategic weapons since the current conflict with the US and Israel began on February 28. Ministry of Defence spokesman Reza Talaei-Nik stated that over 9,300 domestic companies are involved in the arms sector, making it resilient to foreign strikes. This follows a 12-day war in June 2025 that the White House claimed destroyed 85 percent of Iran’s defence-industrial base. Iranian military officials maintain that they have achieved greater strike accuracy and air defence capabilities despite these losses.
