Iran's security chief, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, warned of a severe confrontation if the United States continues its economic blockade against Tehran. Speaking via Iranian state media, Rezaei stated that Iran exported 80 million barrels of oil during a recent ceasefire period but will retaliate by targeting US economic interests in the region if trade restrictions persist. He also issued sharp personal threats against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid heightened regional tensions. Meanwhile, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani traveled to Tehran to meet Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss regional security and diplomatic de-escalation.
