Former all-rounder Irfan Pathan commended Rahul's technique and temperament, noting his ability to perform on challenging overseas pitches. Earlier, India's bowlers dismissed New Zealand for 134, with Gurnoor Brar taking 4/30 and Auqib Nabi, Anshul Kamboj, and Axar Patel contributing two wickets each.
