The prime minister's office did not immediately comment on the reported trip. The visit comes while West Asia remains affected by the Israel-U.S. conflict launched against Iran in February. It also follows recent reports that the Emirati president allegedly warned Mr. Netanyahu ahead of the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas, a claim the Israeli premier has denied. Israel and the UAE formally established diplomatic ties in 2020 through the US-negotiated Abraham Accords.
