Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday, September 25, 2026, moved a resolution in the assembly demanding the immediate restoration of full Statehood to the region. The resolution calls upon the Government of India to fulfill its pending commitments regarding Jammu and Kashmir's administrative status.
