JD(S) Leader Arrested for Assaulting Traffic Constable in Bengaluru

Bengaluru police arrested Janata Dal (Secular) Karnataka general secretary Manjunath, also known as Gottigere Manja, for allegedly assaulting a traffic constable. The incident occurred in the Hulimavu area when the constable, Arun M Badagowdar, signalled Manjunath to stop his car. According to police reports, Manjunath exited his vehicle, grabbed the officer by his collar, and kicked him. The assault was captured on video and subsequently went viral on social media. The accused was arrested at a local hotel on Sunday night and produced before a court.
