Retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra has been appointed as the first full-time CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which oversees the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Mishra served in the Indian Air Force for nearly 40 years, including commanding the Western Air Command during Operation Sindoor in May 2025. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and has over 3,000 hours of flying experience. Mishra retired from the Air Force in April 2026 after a distinguished career that earned him the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal.
