JNTUH Professors File Complaint Against Vice-Chancellor Over Alleged Sexist Remarks

Two women professors from a Hyderabad engineering college have lodged a police complaint against JNTUH vice-chancellor T Kishen Kumar Reddy. The complainants, including a college principal, allege that Reddy behaved in a hostile manner and made derogatory, gender-discriminatory comments during a meeting to invite him to an event. According to the complaint, Reddy refused to offer them seats and reportedly tore up the invitation while suggesting women were unfit for professional roles. The KPHB police in Hyderabad confirmed receiving the complaint and are currently verifying the allegations before deciding whether to register an FIR.
