Police in way are investigating the murder of pharmaceutical trader Vineet Manocha, focusing on his son, Subrat, following the discovery of digital links. The alleged shooter, Vishal Gautam, purchased a new way card on September 3, two days before the 60-year-old victim was stabbed to death. Investigators recovered call records showing that Subrat and Vishal spoke 309 times between May and the night of the crime. Vishal, a former employee of Manocha dismissed for alleged theft, claims he killed the trader at the behest of Manocha's daughter-in-law, Shalu. Shalu, Vishal, and another associate named Raj Kishore are currently in jail in connection with the case.
