A retired Indian Air Force Group Captain and Kargil War veteran was assaulted with an iron rod following an altercation over parking in Gurgaon. Group Captain Amit Kumar Gupta alleged that a parking attendant at Magnum Global Park attacked him, causing serious head injuries and a fractured hand on September 10. Gupta had gone to the location for a family dinner at Gonzo restaurant after dropping his family off. The dispute began when parking staff directed his car between multiple areas before refusing service, leading an attendant to strike his windshield and subsequently attack him. Gupta was admitted to Medanta Hospital with heavy bleeding, and a complaint has been filed at the Sector 65 police station.
