Karnataka Launches One Karnataka Mobility App and WhatsApp Bus Ticketing

The Karnataka government launched the One Karnataka Mobility App alongside a new WhatsApp ticketing facility during an event in Bengaluru to mark 100 days of Chief Minister D K Shivakumar's administration. The unified digital platform integrates bus services from the state's four road transport corporations, which include KSRTC, NWKRTC, KKRTC, and BMTC. Commuters can book tickets, view booking history, manage transactions, and file complaints through a built-in grievance redressal system. Passengers can also book tickets for all corporations except BMTC via WhatsApp by messaging +91 6364940880, with payments processed through UPI, cards, or digital wallets. The app will introduce digital monthly passes with QR-code-based validation in a phased rollout.
