Karnataka to Host Southern States' CMs at Dasara

The Karnataka government, led by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, has decided to invite the Chief Ministers of all southern states to attend the Mysuru Dasara celebrations. This decision was made during a high-level meeting to review the preparations for the event. The meeting also decided to invite noted cultural troupes from Karnataka to perform at Dasara and to organize an aero show with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's participation. The Chief Minister has directed the authorities to include new features such as Chitra Santhe, a flea market, and a vintage car rally. A Minister will be appointed to monitor the programs on a daily basis, in addition to the district in-charge Minister.

The invitation to southern states' CMs is expected to foster regional cooperation and promote Karnataka's cultural heritage. The event may also provide an opportunity for the CMs to discuss regional issues and strengthen ties.
