Nineteen-year-old law student and model Kaziah Liz Mejo from Kerala has been crowned Miss Universe India 2026 at a pageant finale held in Jaipur on Sunday. Mejo emerged victorious among 53 contestants and became the first Keralite to win the title. Vaishnavi Gannesh from Tamil Nadu secured the 1st runner-up position, while Anushri Satavlekar from Gujarat was named the 2nd runner-up and bagged the Miss International India 2026 title. Mejo will now represent India at the 75th Miss Universe pageant scheduled for November in Puerto Rico. The grand finale featured a jury panel led by former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, alongside previous titleholders Urvashi Rautela and Celina Jaitley.
