· World · The Guardian, Reuters, Al Jazeera

Kenya has recorded its first confirmed Ebola case involving a citizen who traveled to Nairobi from the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Saturday. The patient has since died from the infection, according to Health Minister Aden Duale. Authorities have identified 28 close contacts, including family members and healthcare workers, for monitoring.
