Keralam Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala stated that neither the state government nor the police requested Meta to remove social media posts concerning Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan. Chennithala asserted that Meta is responsible for explaining its decision to delete the content. During the same event in Thiruvananthapuram, the Minister launched three police projects: an Integrated Beat Management System, an AI-based road accident tracking system, and a Cyber Wall initiative to combat digital fraud. He also noted that the Governor's decision to summon the State Police Chief is within standard administrative procedures.
