Kia Begins Production of Hybrid Sorento SUV in Anantapur

Kia India has launched production of its first hybrid Sorento SUV at the Anantapur plant. The model, the marque’s first strong hybrid for the Indian market, also offers an optional turbo‑diesel engine. It is the company’s first three‑row SUV in India, positioned above the Seltos. The launch date is scheduled for 4 September 2026, with a twin‑screen interior and a design closely resembling the ASEAN version.
