Kia Carens and Carens Clavis CNG Debut Ahead of India Launch

Kia has unveiled factory-fitted CNG versions of the Carens and Carens Clavis ahead of their official market launch in India. The vehicles are powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a factory CNG system, delivering 96 PS and 123 Nm of torque in CNG mode. The setup includes a 60-litre CNG tank positioned in the boot while retaining the under-vehicle spare wheel. Kia has retuned the suspension and upgraded the front disc brakes to compensate for the additional weight of the CNG system. Pricing, fuel efficiency figures, and exact variant details have not yet been announced.
