Kochi Police Seek Lookout Circular Against Doctor Accused of Sexual Abuse

Kochi City police have decided to issue a lookout circular against 41-year-old doctor Johnson Varghese, accused of sexually assaulting a woman after intoxicating her, with suspicions he may have abused more women. Investigators found alleged visuals on his phone showing him abusing at least 12 women, which the complainant, a 50-year-old woman, had handed over to police. The Infopark police registered the case on Friday following the arrest of two film actors and an accomplice for allegedly assaulting and robbing the doctor of ₹3.25 lakh worth of valuables. The hospital where Dr. Varghese was employed dismissed him from service after he was booked for sexual abuse.
