Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe Targets MacBook Neo at $700 Starting Price

Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaPad Vibe, a budget productivity laptop starting at $700 aimed at competing with the MacBook Neo and Dell XPS 13. The laptop comes in brightly coloured metal chassis — including dreamy violet, spicy gold, zen green, chill blue, radiant coral, moody blue, and lowkey gray — with options for Qualcomm Snapdragon X or AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors. Buyers can configure up to 24GB or 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, dual battery options on AMD models (50WHr or 65WHr), and up to 120Hz OLED displays. The Vibe also packs four USB ports (two Type-A, two Type-C), a 3.5mm audio jack, microSD reader, full-size HDMI, dual 2W speakers, and a 5MP webcam with Windows Hello and a physical shutter. Available in 14-inch (2.8 pounds) and 15-inch (3.3 pounds) versions, the laptop measures 0.59 inches thick, though the base 8GB RAM model is considered inadequate for Windows use.
