Hundreds of supporters had gathered near The Shard to see the actor-turned-politician during his UK investment mission. Organisers stated that required permissions could not be secured in time to manage the large turnout. Despite the cancellation, the Chief Minister's delegation has successfully signed multiple memoranda of understanding worth approximately Rs 12,300 crore to boost manufacturing in Tamil Nadu.
