Chief Minister Mohan Yadav represented Madhya Pradesh at the Apex Monitoring Authority meeting in New Delhi on 17 August 2026. Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, and NITI Aayog Vice‑Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri attended alongside CM’s and industry ministers from other states. Yadav said the state has created a conducive environment that has won industry confidence and is attracting more investors. He announced that the PM MITRA Park, whose foundation stone was laid on 17 September 2025, will give fresh impetus to the textile sector and drive industrial development. The government aims to provide better infrastructure, simplified processes and a favourable climate to expedite investment proposals.
