Madhya Pradesh Cop Neha Pachisia Suspended Over Extortion and Land Grab Charges

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered the immediate suspension of Katni City Superintendent of Police Neha Pachisia following extortion and land grab allegations. Pachisia, serving as an investigating officer in a murder case in Katni, allegedly demanded Rs 15 lakh from the family of an accused man for relief. When the family could not pay, she reportedly forced the accused man's father to transfer land to an associate at a fraction of its market value. An FIR has been registered against Pachisia and two other individuals under sections covering extortion, cheating, criminal conspiracy, and misuse of official position. Jabalpur Range Inspector General Pramod Verma confirmed that investigators are currently examining the financial links and the disputed land transaction.
