The Maharashtra Government's General Administration Department has constituted a high-level committee chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary to conduct a comprehensive review of state recruitment examinations. The panel aims to make the recruitment process more transparent, secure, reliable, candidate-centric, and resistant to malpractices. To gather inputs, the committee will consult students, parents, teachers, educational institutions, coaching operators, and public representatives across every revenue division in the state. Committee members are scheduled to visit Savitribai Phule Pune University on Saturday, September 12, 2026, to interact directly with examinees. Additionally, a dedicated special cell has been established at the Pune Collectorate Office from September 7 to September 10, 2026, to collect suggestions, recommendations, and objections from local stakeholders.
