Real owners of Mahindra's Electric Origin SUVs — the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S — are reporting daily ranges of 480-510 km in the city and 450-460 km on highways at 90-100 km/h cruising speeds, based on a RushLane owner roundup. BE 6 owner Ranjit, who has clocked over 10,000 km, says home charging access is the single biggest factor behind his recommendation, with the larger 79 kWh battery needing periodic top-ups. The cars support AC home charging and DC fast charging, with a 20-80% top-up taking around 20 minutes on compatible fast chargers. The standout case is XEV 9e owner Anuj Purohit, who completed a roughly 3,890 km Gurgaon-Bhutan-Gurgaon road trip using public DC charging. Extreme summer heat and heavy AC use are noted as real-world range reducers.
